Rangoli Competition – Terms & Conditions
Eligibility
- The competition is open to all participants (kids, teens, adults).
- Participants must register before the closing date.
- Each group must consist of a minimum of 2 participant and a maximum of 4 participants.
General Rules
- Each group will be allocated a specific space/area to create their rangoli.
- A maximum of 6 different rice colors will be provided by the organizer. Participants may bring additional approved materials (e.g., flowers, diyas) if desired.
- Time limit for completing the rangoli will be strictly enforced (90 minutes).
- Designs must be original and created on the spot. Participants are allowed to use their phones to search for ideas/designs from Google or social media, but tracing, printing, or using stencils is not permitted.
- Any form of offensive, religiously insensitive, or inappropriate designs will lead to immediate disqualification.
Judging Criteria
Participants will be judged based on:
- Creativity & originality
- Neatness & presentation
- Effective use of the given 6 rice colors
- Theme relevance
- Overall impact
Code of Conduct
- Participants must report at least 30 minutes before the competition starts.
- No external assistance is allowed during the competition.
- Decisions of the judges will be final and binding.
- Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant or group for misbehaviour or violation of rules.
Other Terms
- The organizers are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.
- Photographs and videos of the event may be used by the organizers for promotional purposes.
- Participation in the competition implies acceptance of all terms and conditions.
